Brief Introduction
Gavin is a full-time international arbitrator who has sat as sole, co-arbitrator and presiding arbitrator in over 160 international arbitrations under the rules of the LCIA, ICC, HKIAC, SIAC, KCAB, CIETAC, JCAA, SHIAC, VIAC, AFSA and UNCITRAL.
Gavin has been appointed in matters seated in London and across the Asia-Pacific region, including Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore, Korea, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Australia.
From 2009 to 2010, Gavin was based in Beijing, where he undertook his Masters in Chinese law at Peking University, while also working as an arbitrator. Having completed his LL.M. in November 2010, Gavin relocated to Hong Kong to establish Arbitration Chambers. He founded Arbitration Chambers London in 2016 and Arbitration Chambers New York in April 2020.
