Dr. Zhou specialises in construction and engineering law. Prior to joining JunHe, he served as Managing Partner of Pinsent Masons & Hesen Alliance. He was retained as an Adjunctive Professor by Tsinghua University - IIEPM, and now is the arbitrator of Beijing Arbitration Commission/Beijing International Arbitration Court (BAC) and China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).
Dr. Zhou specializes in all aspects of law relating to construction and engineering for energy and infrastructure projects, particularly EPC projects, construction insurance and bonds, claims and counter claims, cross-border construction disputes resolution both domestically and internationally. Based on his working experiences as engineer, he has extensive experience in providing professional legal services to project owners and contractors.
Dr. Zhou was awarded as the first PhD in Engineering Law in PRC in 2004. He was a member of Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) as well as National Qualified Constructor of PRC. For many years, he has been ranked by Chambers and Partners Global in individual rankings in the category Projects and Infrastructure (PRC).
